The 1,850 square foot branch space is located in the Times Square ShoppingCenter at 98-1258 Kaahumanu Street. It will feature a full-service bankingfacility with night drop and ATM. Services will include business andpersonal checking, savings, Certificates of Deposit, Individual RetirementAccounts and mortgages.
Green building materials were used in portions of the build out, includingcarpet tiles made from recycled materials and energy efficient lighting.Urban Works, Inc. is the architect and JW, Inc. is the general contractorfor the new branch.
Seattle-based HomeStreet Bank began offering mortgage services in Hawaii in1979, adding bank branches in 1999. It will now have five retail branchesand home loan offices on the islands of Oahu, Maui and the Big Island.HomeStreet's largest branch is located in Honolulu at 2 South King Street.
