The event at Denver's Marriott City Center will honor certified publicaccountants in Colorado "who make a difference in their communities, withintheir families, or who in some other way demonstrate their commitment tomaking a difference in others' lives."

Coet was nominated by Liz Julian, Deputy Director for the Colorado Societyof Certified Public Accountants, because of Coet's dedication to herprofession and her community. Her resume includes the following currentdistinctions:

--  Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the    Colorado Society of CPAs and the Financial Planning Association.--  President of the Westminster Legacy Foundation's board of directors    and consultant to the Colorado Board of Accountancy.--  Instructor for the Small Business Development Center at the Front    Range Community College's business college, where she also serves on the    advisory board.

A magna cum laude graduate of Regis University, with a major in businessadministration and a minor in economics, Coet has more than 30 years ofexperience in accounting, tax preparation and tax planning for individuals,corporations, partnerships and fiduciaries.

Gregg Moss of Denver's 9NEWS will act as master of ceremonies at the CSCPAevent, while Ernest Almonte, Chair of American Institute of CPAs, will bethe keynote speaker. The Distinguished Service Award and the EverydayHeroes and Heroines Awards will be presented during the gala.
