The store also held a full dayof festivities to mark its arrival in Goodyear, including a ribbon-cuttingceremony with Goodyear Mayor James Cavanaugh, music, food and giveaways.

As part of its Live With Vision program, Eyeglass World invitedunderprivileged children from the Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenixto the new store to receive free eye exams and glasses.

Live With Vision is a national program developed by Eyeglass World thatprovides eye care products and services to children in need, and raisesawareness of the importance of vision screenings and proper eye care.Undiagnosed vision among children is a growing issue that contributes to achild's performance in school and overall behavior. An optometrist is available onsite 7 days a week for eye exams, prescriptions and even Lasik eligibilityscreenings and post-operative appointments.
