Recently, Crosby said, "Our industry has consolidated at an amazing pace.And that consolidation has damaged the competitive dynamic of thetraditional US aerospace and defense market. Consolidation requires that were-think the definition of 'made in America.'"

In 2008, EADSgenerated revenues of 43.3 billion Euros (more than $60 billion). Crosby began his career in 1981 at Northrop Grumman, where he held numerouspositions including Executive Director of the company's Washington office.In 1996, he became General Manager of its Commercial Aircraft Division andwas General Manager of the B-2 Division. Prior to assuming his currentposition in 2002, Crosby was president of the Integrated Systems Sector ofNorthrop Grumman Corporation.
