Huawei Technologies Elected to 3G Americas Board of Governors

BELLEVUE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/02/08 -- 3G Americas today announces that HuaweiTechnologies, an industry leader in providing next generationtelecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, is thenewest member of its Board of Governors, effective March 2008. Huaweijoins a distinguished Board, currently comprised of sixteen leadingoperators and manufacturers, working together to develop the expansivewireless ecosystem of networks, devices, and applications enabled by theGSM family of technologies including LTE.

Chris Pearson, President of 3G Americas, welcomed Huawei to the 3G AmericasBoard and explained their election.
