JERUSALEM -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/10/08 -- IDenta Corp. (PINKSHEETS: IDTA) announced todaythat it expects to soon sign a formal agreement with the French governmentto begin development of a totally new line of detection kits. The newproducts, as yet unnamed, will be used to identify precursor chemicals thatare used to manufacture numerous illicit drugs such as methamphetamine, ecstasy, heroin and cocaine. The announcement comes after IDenta's recenttrade mission to France where high level meetings were held with a specialFrench commission, made up of high ranking law enforcement officials, investigating ways to curtail the production of illicit drugs by stoppingthe illegal import and shipment of precursor chemicals.

"Governments must monitor chemical imports and interrupt the delivery ofthese precursor ingredients before they are received by illegal drugmanufacturers and traffickers," explained IDTA CEO Yaacov Shoham. "We arehonored that the French have expressed their complete confidence in IDentaas the only organization that is fully qualified to develop these newdetectors to their standards of accuracy and on-site reliability. I wish tothank Ibtec and Mr. Laurent Elbaze, who represent our company's products inFrance, for making this possible. We expect to announce a formal agreementin a very short time, and expect that these products could soon generatenew large demands from countries around the world." (Not only from France)

Recently IDenta announced that the French government, through itsrepresentatives Ibtec, had selected IDenta drug identification products andthe explosive identifiers for use throughout all of the country's lawenforcement agencies. Orders for IDenta products in recent weeks havesteadily increased from law enforcement agencies throughout that country.

About Precursors

Law enforcement agencies world-wide are keenly aware that chemical controlis a crucial element to controlling the manufacture and distribution ofillegal narcotics and synthetic substances. The International Office OfNational Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, andthe U.S. Department of State are working with the major pseudoephedrine andEphedrine producing/exporting countries of China, Germany, and India on amulti-faceted approach to address the issue of precursor diversion. In lateFebruary 2006, the DEA hosted a meeting in Hong Kong with Law EnforcementOfficials from India, Germany, and several major pseudoephedrine andephedrine importing countries to discuss pseudoephedrine and ephedrinediversion control issues. There was an overall agreement that more must bedone internationally to control diversion and it was a significant firststep in the process.
