Airspan Completes FCC Certification for Full Product Suite in the 3.65 GHz Frequency Band

BOCA RATON, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/04/08 -- Airspan Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRN), aleading provider of WiMAX-based broadband wireless access networks,announced today that it has obtained FCC certification to market itscompact MicroMAX base station in the 3.65 GHz frequency band as well as thefull suite of subscriber devices including the indoor EasyST and outdoorProST, both of which also support optional WiFi and VoIP extensions.

This new certification follows the FCC approval at the end of 2007 ofAirspan's HiperMAX base station in the 3.65GHz band, now making availableto US customers a full complement of products suiting every business case.HiperMAX and MicroMAX base stations have been broadly deployedinternationally, providing critical reference points for discerningoperators in the United States who, like operators everywhere, are focusedon deploying quality, field-tested products.
