NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/03/08 -- Con Edison has joined the NYC Department ofSanitation and the Lower East Side Ecology Center (LESEC) to sponsor a"Spring Cleaning" recycling event at the Soundview Composting Facility inthe Bronx on Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th.This "Spring Cleaning" recycling event encourages city residents to turn inunwanted e-waste, or donate gently used clothing and linens to localcharitable organizations. Computers, monitors, keyboards, mice,televisions, VCRs, copiers and cell phones are common electronic waste ore-waste.
