Green Energy Resources Offers Aid to Buffalo, NY Snowstorm Recovery. NYS Biomass to Power Electricity and Save State Tax Payers Millons
ALBANY, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 25, 2006 -- Green Energy Resources (Other OTC:GRGR.PK - News) plans to assist Buffalo, NY. clean up efforts from the October snowstorm.Green Energy Resources is coordinating with NYS officials to take as much as 200,000 tons of woodchips at no cost to the state. Storm damage estimates by Erie County, NY. officials indicate about 1.75 million tons of damaged trees and limbs involved in the massive clean up. The salvaged biomass represents a cost savings in the millions of dollars to NYS residents. Green Energy Resources is a supplier of woodchips and wood biomass to the renewable energy industry.
Green Energy Resources recently expanded export operations to Albany, NY. The company plans to make its first export shipment of woodchips from the region before years end.The salvage operation and utilization of woodbiomass by Green Energy Resources represents an outstanding effort by New York State Govenor George Pataki, a national leader for renewable energy, and NYS DEC officials. Each 50,000 tons represents approximately 1 export shipment. "Free" woodchips from storm damage are a win, win situation for the state and the environment and the economy.
