Pearl Jam's "World Wide Suicide" Creates Chart History With Musicrypt's DMDS Technology
TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 21, 2006 -- Musicrypt Inc. (Vancouver:MCT.V - News) (Other OTC:MCYPF.PK - News), the industry's leading secure digital music distribution provider, is pleased to announce that it delivered the greatly anticipated Pearl Jam single, "World Wide Suicide," which debuted at #1 at Rock Radio across North America on Monday, March 13th.

In Canada, "World Wide Suicide" was delivered exclusively by Musicrypt's Digital Media Distribution System (DMDS) and history was made when "World Wide Suicide" became the first digitally delivered single in BDS chart history to debut at # 1 on the Rock Radio Audience chart. There were no physical hard copies of CD-SINGLES or D-PROS delivered to radio programmers, consultants or industry contacts for this major release.

The self-titled album on J RECORDS is the band's first studio release in four years and is due in stores on May 2nd. The first single was delivered across North America securely and in broadcast quality audio via Musicrypt's patented DMDS.

John Heaven, President & CEO of Musicrypt Inc., said, "The ability of DMDS to aid in promotion by rapidly and securely distributing key releases is clearly demonstrated by these ground-breaking results. The savings DMDS can deliver to the entire music industry by eliminating pre-release leaks and lowering labor, material and delivery costs is expected to be in the tens of millions of dollars."

"Pearl Jam is back on the radio in Canada like they never have been before," said Warren Copnick, Director, National Promotion, SONY BMG Music (Canada) Inc. "To make chart history as we've just done, speaks volumes about the music itself and we're honored to be associated with Pearl Jam. At SONY BMG Music (Canada) Inc., we use digital delivery via DMDS exclusively for internal and radio distribution. In fact, we have not delivered hard copies to radio here in over a year."

"With #1 Audience Chart debuts at Modern Rock, Mainstream Rock, and Heritage Rock, and #3 audience chart debuts at Active Rock, it is clear that Pearl Jam's 'World Wide Suicide' is the most important release this year at the Rock Formats," said Bill Burrs, VP Rock Music at RCA Music Group, U.S. "We are extremely pleased that a broadcast quality track combined with promotion information was delivered to radio via DMDS. The simultaneous release to radio in both the US and Canada is important for fair competitive reasons, and DMDS enables us to do this confidently."
